Beam Driving School offers manual car hire for learners, supervisors, and driving instructors who need a reliable, well-maintained vehicle for short or extended use.
About the Car
Our manual car is the same one used for regular lessons — smooth, responsive, and fully equipped for test conditions. It’s clean, dual-controlled, and kept in excellent mechanical condition to give you confidence on the road.
Who Can Hire
- Beam students who’ve completed manual lessons with us
- Learners who want to hire the car for a week or more to get their hours up
- External learners who need a suitable car for their PDA
- Driving instructors needing a temporary or backup manual vehicle
There is a $1,000 bond for non-Beam students, refundable upon safe return of the vehicle.
Collection Details
The car can be collected from Leeming.
To hire the vehicle, you must:
- Hold a current learner’s permit and be accompanied by a supervising driver who has held a full manual licence for at least 4 years, or
- Be a driving instructor with a current instructor’s licence
Pricing & Payment
From $75
- Hire available from 2 hours up to 7 days for practice or test use
(GST included) - You will be sent an electronic invoice, which must be paid in full before the hire starts.
Once payment is confirmed, your booking will be secured.
